About the Role
- Drive the development and continuous improvement of financial operations, working closely with senior leaders and budget holders to enhance financial performance, efficiency, and transparency.
- Ensure robust financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, maintaining a strong control environment and optimising financial operations.
- Manage the transactional teams with the Finance department.
- Become the in-house expert of the current finance system.
About You
- A professional accountancy qualification (AAT and or ACCA equivalent).
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices and have proven experience in a similar senior level role.
- Adept at forging effective working relationships with colleagues and senior stakeholders, influencing them and where appropriate showing diplomacy, creativity and resilience when seeking practical business solutions.
- Significant experience in direct line management of a Finance Team.
