About the Role

  • You will provide students across the college, with the appropriate academic and practical support both in and out of the classroom.
  • You will also support Lecturers and Tutors working with students with specific needs, to access their curriculum and to achieve and progress whilst at Hartpury.
  • You will also contribute to the planning and delivery of support for FE students, to support their ambitions and employment outcomes.
  • You will need to maintain accurate records to aid student support and welfare.

About You

  • You will have a keen interest in supporting young people with SEND.
  • You will have a Level 2 qualification in literacy skills or similar.
  • You will be able to support learners in practical sessions as well as academically.
  • Experience of working with post 16 young people in an educational setting is an advantage although not essential.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of our subject areas including Equine, Sport, Agriculture and Animal Management would also be an advantage although not essential.
