About the Role

  • The Head of International Recruitment is a key appointment and will play a pivotal role in enabling Hartpury to achieve international student recruitment growth in-line with strategic objectives and targets.
  • Reporting to the Director of Communications and Marketing, the position will provide high performance leadership and direction to a small specialist international recruitment team, and work collaboratively and influentially with senior internal and external stakeholders, across a wide remit of international initiatives and activities.
  • The Head of International Recruitment will take responsibility for developing and implementing effective integrated international recruitment and marketing strategies, based on robust market intelligence, across the full student recruitment cycle to deliver against targets.
  • The post-holder will also play a central role in developing international partnerships and progression opportunities, working closely with academic/senior colleagues to identify and develop relationships with universities, sponsors, government, and industry.

About You

  • You will have substantial experience in UK university international recruitment, be target driven and have a track record of leading teams to increase student numbers,
  • You will also possess a detailed knowledge of key recruitment markets and be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the current international student recruitment context in the UK.
  • The role is based in the UK (hybrid working), but candidates must be comfortable travelling overseas independently and be willing to work flexibly during evenings and weekends when necessary.
