About the Role

  • You will play a key role in the development of Hartpury’s systems, supporting our ambitious technology aims.
  • You will work on a small number of existing and new .NET Core web and console applications.
  • You will work with the wider Application Development and Support (ADS) team contributing to the full development lifecycle, designing and developing new systems to replace some of our existing systems, or introduce entirely new functionality.
  • You will work collaboratively to ensure that work meets technical and design requirements whilst promoting good development practices.
  • You will work collaboratively with all levels of users to help establish, support and achieve high standards across Hartpury.

 

About You

  • You will be an enthusiastic, proactive and hardworking professional.
  • You will have experience in building .NET web applications using a variety of front-end and back-end technologies.
  • You will also be familiar with building console applications, and have a good understanding of accessing data in SQL databases and via REST and SOAP APIs.
  • You will be comfortable working flexibly, with great attention to detail to produce reliable, high-quality solutions.
  • You will be keen to learn new tools and technologies in order to help assess their potential benefits.
  • You will enjoy sharing knowledge and helping other, more junior members of the team.
  • You will preferably have some experience working in a small but close-knit team.
  • You will have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
