About the Role

  • This role is to support the Dog Grooming School tutors in providing a viable, professional and efficient Dog Grooming Training Centre assisting within practical sessions supporting students on their training journey.
  • You will be responsible for the preparation of facilities prior to training taking place, preparation of practical and paper resources and the processing of enrolment applications.
  • You will ensure all areas are clean and tidy during and following training delivery and carry out housekeeping duties including laundry and equipment maintenance.
  • This is a customer facing role responsible for booking grooming sessions and actively promoting the welfare and care of the dogs on site.

About You

  • You will be qualified to C&G Level 2 in Dog Grooming and have previous experience and confidence with a variety of dog breeds.
  • You will be able to work methodically and accurately, whilst maintaining a professional and customer focused approach to all aspects of the role.  
  • You will demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a busy team environment and communicate with all levels of staff, students and industry partners in a confident and knowledgeable manner.
