About the Role

Hartpury University is looking for an individual to deliver and enhance learning, teaching and assessment across undergraduate level, within the field of physical activity and exercise physiology.

  • Including delivery in the sport and exercise science disciplines, specifically physical activity and sport and exercise physiology, in both classroom and laboratory environments.
  • The role includes academic administrative duties, including module leadership, and as such, the successful candidate will have demonstrated a track record for supporting a high-quality student experience.
  • Requiring impactful engagement with research or equivalent scholarly activity to support excellence in teaching and learning and the student experience.

 

About You

  • Has a relevant sport and exercise postgraduate qualification.
  • Ideally, you will be near completion of a level 8 qualification or have equivalent professional standing in a relevant subject area.
  • An emerging track record of active engagement in scholarship, research and knowledge exchange.
  • Experience of applied sport and exercise physiology, achieving recognized Professional Body certification such as CASES.
  • Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to complete one within two years of appointment.
  • Able to provide evidence of making a positive contribution to student outcomes.
  • Willingness to engage with external partners and industry connections.
