About the Role

  • You will be responsible for the provision of an efficient and effective service to residential students, and provide a critical role in keeping the campus safe during the overnight period. 
  • You will support the Duty Team with pastoral, health and wellbeing support to ensure the safety & safeguarding of students is paramount and at the forefront of the Residential Support Team's practice, and in accordance with the appropriate regulatory frameworks (Social Care Common Inspection Framework / National Minimum Standards).
  • Whilst a large part of this role is student focussed, Residential Support and Security Officers are responsible for the safety and security of the Hartpury estate, the Hartpury buildings, property and people.      

About You

  • You will hold or be willing to complete a First Aid Qualification 
  • Hold a safeguarding qualification, or be willing to complete one 
  • You can demonstrate experience of working in a similar role, and be committed to developing the wellbeing & resilience of students    
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
