Howdens Joinery are looking an End User Computing Configuration Analyst, with the core skill being Application Packaging, required to support a Windows 10 landscape across 750+ locations within the UK and Europe.
Within a complex, Microsoft Windows & 365 enterprise infrastructure environment, you will work within a team to package and deploy many applications ranging in size, nature, and complexity to multiple office locations across the UK and Europe. Application discovery, pre-packaging testing and documentation will need to be completed prior to the deployment to ensure minimal downtime for the enterprise user base.
The deployment of applications will consist of building and maintaining installation packages, performing initial testing and full functionality sign-off for the Window OS platform before a controlled release into business-standard builds.
You will be comfortable creating a modern desktop build and update as required. Additionally, you will be able to adapt quickly to the processes and procedures which exist within the team to respond quickly to change requests and additional packages as new projects come online and move forward.
You will be part of the decision-making process for the technical solutions associated with the end-user technology landscape, aligned to the wider design, where security and compliance factors have been given full consideration. As required, you will be work directly with the end-users.
Finally, the role requires a well organised individual with strong attention to detail, self-starting, and excellent team and communications skills.
