Are you looking for a 12-week summer Engineering Internship where you will learn invaluable engineering skills and gain real-life work experience with a FTSE100 organisation?
Howdens have an exciting opportunity for undergraduates to join our manufacturing site in Howden, East Riding of Yorkshire. Joining the UK’s number one trade kitchen supplier, you will work alongside industry experts where you will build experience and skills that will help you thrive in your early career. You will contribute to continuous improvement by developing and applying your engineering skills across projects ranging from £1k to £10m, covering everything from production line enhancements to the installation of new processes and plant.

Our engineering placement programme is designed to give you valuable hands‑on experience and skills, with the potential to secure a permanent role through one of our graduate opportunities once you complete your studies.
What we can offer you:
As an Engineering Intern, you will join us for the summer, receive a pro rata salary of £24,800, and work onsite 5 days a week. You will receive 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, access to employee well‑being support, a free daily lunch at our on‑site canteen and invitations to our exceptional reward and recognition events.
