\r\nYour trust is very important to us, so IGD is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. It is important that you read this notice so that you are aware of how and why we are using such information.
\r\nIGD is the “data controller” of this information. This means that IGD decides what your personal information is used for, and the ways in which it is processed. We are required to provide you with this information under the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) (GDPR).
\r\nThis privacy notice describes how we collect and use personal information about you during and after your relationship with us, in accordance with data protection law. IGD is committed to being transparent about how it collects and uses that data and to meeting its data protection obligations.

\r\nWe will comply with data protection law and principles, which means that your data will be:

- Collected only for valid purposes that we have clearly explained to you and not used in any way that is incompatible with those purposes. \r\n
- Relevant to the purposes we have told you about and limited only to those purposes. \r\n

- Kept only as long as necessary for the purposes we have told you about. \r\n
- Kept securely. \r\n

What data will be collected?
\r\nIGD will collect, store and use a variety of personal information that you have provided to us about yourself when you apply for a role with IGD.
\r\nThis includes:
\r\n- \r\n
- your name, address and contact details, including email address and telephone number; \r\n
- details of your qualifications, skills, experience and employment history; \r\n
- information about your current level of remuneration, including benefit entitlements; \r\n
- whether or not you have a disability for which the organisation needs to make reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process; \r\n
- information about your entitlement to work in the UK; \r\n

How is your personal information collected?
\r\nWe collect your personal information from your CV, cover letter and details contained in your passport or other forms of identification. We also collected details from your interviews and assessments we may ask you to complete.
\r\nIGD will also collect personal data about you from third parties, such as references supplied by former employers, information from employment background check providers, recruitment consultants and LinkedIn. For some roles, we are obliged to seek information about criminal convictions and offences. Where this information is required, we do so because it is necessary for us to carry out our obligations and exercise specific rights in relation to employment.
\r\nWhere we seek information from third parties we will only do so once a job offer has been made and we will inform you that this is taking place.

How will we use your personal information?
\r\nThe personal information that you provide will be processed for the purposes of the recruitment and selection for roles in IGD. We will not use your data for any other reason.
\r\nWe have a legitimate interest to process personal data for this purpose. Our legitimate interests are: reviewing job applications to select appropriate candidates, contacting candidates in relation to job applications, the efficient and effective operation of IGD’s business.
\r\nIGD processes health information if we need to make reasonable adjustments to the recruitment process for candidates who have a disability. This is to carry out our obligations and exercise specific rights in relation to employment.
\r\nIGD will also collect from you and process certain “special categories” (i.e., more sensitive) personal information about you. This information is your ethnicity, gender, disability, age. We process this information for the purposes of equal opportunities monitoring.

Data Security
\r\nData will be stored in a range of different places, including on your application record, in HR management systems and on other IT systems (including email).
\r\nData stored by IGD is held within a secure hybrid environment. Access to data, system utilities and program source libraries is controlled and restricted to those authorised users who have a legitimate business need.
\r\n\r\n
Information about how the data will be shared
\r\nWe will share information you provide only with people in IGD for the purpose of the recruitment process. This includes the recruitment manager and members of the HR team, interviewers involved in the process, managers in the business area with a vacancy. Obviously, we may from time to time need to share data with certain professional advisors such as lawyers.
\r\nWe will only share your data with appropriate third parties once an offer of employment has been made.
\r\nWe will not transfer your personal information to countries outside the European Economic Area without notifying you first. Nor will we share your information for marketing purposes.
\r\n\r\n
What if you do not provide personal data?
\r\nYou are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to IGD during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, IGD may not be able to process your application properly or at all.
\r\nYou are under no obligation to provide information for equal opportunities monitoring purposes and there are no consequences for your application if you choose not to provide such information.
\r\n\r\n
How long you will we retain your data?
\r\nIf your application for employment is unsuccessful, IGD will hold your data on file for 12 months after the end of the relevant recruitment process. You can withdraw your consent to us retaining your data, at any time by contacting dpo@igd.com. At the end of that period, or once you withdraw your consent, your data is deleted or destroyed.
\r\nIf your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment. The periods for which your data will be held will be provided to you in an employee privacy notice.

Automated decision-making
\r\nRecruitment processes are not based solely on automated decision-making.
\r\n\r\n
Your rights in connection with personal information
\r\nUnder certain circumstances, by law you have the right to:
\r\n- \r\n
- Request access to your personal information (commonly known as a \"data subject access request\"). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it. \r\n
- Request correction of the personal information that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate information we hold about you corrected. \r\n
- Request erasure of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal information where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal information where you have exercised your right to object to processing (see below). \r\n
- Object to processing of your personal information where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal information for direct marketing purposes. \r\n
- Request the restriction of processing of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of personal information about you, for example if you want us to establish its accuracy or the reason for processing it. \r\n
- Request the transfer of your personal information to another party \r\n
If you want to review, verify, correct or request erasure of your personal information, object to the processing of your personal data, or request that we transfer a copy of your personal information to another party, please contact the Data Protection Officer in writing at dpo@igd.com.

- Right to withdraw consent. By applying for as role with IGD you are providing consent for us to process your personal information for the purpose of the recruitment exercise. You have the right to withdraw your consent for processing for that purpose at any time. To withdraw your consent, please contact The Data Protection Officer. Once we have received notification that you have withdrawn your consent, we will no longer process your application and, subject to our retention policy, we will dispose of your personal data securely. \r\n
