About the role

We have an immediate need in our Solutions (consultancy style) business for someone with digital and B2B audience experience to support our Product Marketing Manager to drive the activity which will deliver our 2022 budget.

In Q2 we have plans to deliver a short-term, multi-channel marketing plan, to raise awareness of IGD solutions and focus on delivering six of our core pillars/products, whilst also embedding Solutions across all customer touchpoints.

This is an exciting and varied opportunity that involves taking ownership of the Solutions digital marketing plan, generating interest and engagement through a wide variety of creative collateral, including video and other website assets and animations, adverts and blogs, social media, and e-mail campaigns.

It requires someone with great copywriting, idea generation and creative skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and compelling stories through video and the written word.

The responsibilities

Reporting into and supporting the Product Marketing Manager, these include:

Digital marketing plan

Supporting the development of clear and concise messaging for six products/pillars, you will be taking ownership of the Solutions digital marketing plan, working with our agency: making recommendations on an appropriate digital advertising approach for each product (utilising charity and paid account).

Conducting keyword research; implementing and delivering PPC campaigns; measuring and reporting on performance and making on-going recommendations.

Asset & collateral creation

You’ll manage the end-to-end creation of video assets per pillar/product. This includes brainstorming, strategic & creative development, design and delivery.

Supporting in the design and production of compelling customer case studies (3-4), working alongside the Solutions team to gather feedback and translate this into bringing our client stories to life.  

Managing the creation and design of single page adverts for each product for use within IGD reports and presentations (includes copywriting, image sourcing & design).

Identifying and supporting the delivery of additional blogs: including idea & theme generation (relating to existing IGD content), copywriting & editing; including clear next steps and CTA.

Working with the web team to understand new website capabilities and how we can optimise customer experience, exposure & journey.

What you bring

  • Digital marketing background (2 – 5 years experience): digital and B2B audience experience essential
  • An understanding of the Grocery industry, our B2B audience and their needs (ideal but not essential).
  • Strong design and video capabilities; preferably experience working on animation style explainers
  • Strong copywriting skills for web and Social, with the ability to adopt brand tone of voice and guidelines
  • Working experience with website analytics, social media platforms and digital advertising best practices
  • Experience managing projects, with the ability to work with others to bring projects together and deliver plans on time
  • The ability to hit the ground running

We are operating a hybrid approach to working with a mix of home and office-based working. We are based in a very accessible location within the M25, just 20 miles from central London.
