Learning Programmes Administrator

We are looking for a confident communicator to administer our learning programmes and manage customer communications.

About the role

This role will help IGD deliver quality learning experiences that mean our customers develop their skills and thrive in the food and consumer goods industry.

You will be responsible for both the ‘behind-the-scenes’ of our learning programmes, as well as the ‘front of house’ delivery of great customer service.

You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, responding to queries and resolving any issues using your knowledge of our systems, building strong internal and partner relationships.

The responsibilities

Reporting into the Head of Learning Programmes, these include:

Administration of the programme

You will be working with a range of platforms and software, most importantly our CRM database, learning management system (LMS) and virtual event software, such as Zoom.

You’ll be responsible for the process of setting up, running and maintaining our courses and virtual events, briefed by the Learning Content Manager. Some facilitation will be required for these virtual events.

You will become our LMS expert and be a key point of contact with our provider, enabling us to keep up to date on technical improvements and make recommendations that help us get the most from the LMS to benefit customers.

You’ll be reporting on attendance and feedback, ensuring that we stay close to programme performance.

Managing customer communications

You’ll create and deliver the communications plan across the learning journey, from booking to completion. This means ensuring our customers have all the information and support they need to get the most from the experience.

You will manage relationships with key customer contacts to help them benefit from the many ways our programmes develop their people.

Administering our Mentoring programme

You will lead this cross-industry programme, which helps customers develop their skills and confidence in their roles through one-to-one mentoring. This involves building relationships with key contacts, find and recruit participants and manage the pairing process so that you can provide support and best practice for both mentors and mentees.

What you bring

  • A genuine enthusiasm for learning and development – and people
  • A customer-first mindset and an adeptness for building strong relationships
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), with confidence in different hosting software and the enthusiasm to learn how to get the best from new systems and platforms. Ideally, with previous experience using CRM
  • You will have strong prioritisation, planning, organisational skills and excellent attention to detail, with an ability to meet deadlines
  • You’ll be a real team player, motivated to help us continuously deliver the best learning programme for customers

We are operating a hybrid approach to working with a mix of home and office-based working. We are based in a very accessible location within the M25, just 20 miles from central London.
