Inventory Controller

The London Women’s Clinic is an expanding private healthcare group offering state of the art services in assisted conception and women’s health. The group is now one of the UK's leading providers of fertility and women’s health services.

This individual must be accountable and work in a methodical way to be able to record and manage stock levels across the company. This is a new role. Their primary duties will include:

  • Working closely with the Group Purchasing Co-ordinator to use our purchasing system to maintain suitable levels of inventory
  • Organising and maintaining stock across the business. Initially, this will be at across our clinics in London
  • Report monthly inventory levels to the Finance Team as part of the monthly stock take process
  • Recording inventory levels through our quality control systems
  • Maintaining accurate records within the Patient Administration System – both with respect to system administration and the inventory module
  • Answering questions from clinical staff with respect to inventory locations, types and batches still in use
  • Assisting in the receipt of new shipments and logging all delivery notes in our purchasing system
  • Organising the existing stock and assisting in coming up with a system of efficient workflow
  • While the inventory controller will be reporting directly to the Group Purchasing Co-ordinator, they will be working closely with the nursing team as well.
  • Helping with audits of lab products used and traceability of instruments used

 

Essential:

  •  Excellent IT skill set and proficient in all Microsoft programmes
  • Good communication and the ability to work well with various departments across the business
  • A willingness to be proactive in developing new systems & processes
  • Focus on accountability and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage their time effectively
  • Previous experience in inventory management

 Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with patient administration systems, inventory systems and traceability systems
  • Previous experience in the healthcare sector
