By joining us as a Functional Skills Trainer, you can play your part in JTL’s journey from Good to Great. We are looking to recruit outstanding Functional Skills Trainers who can deliver innovative, engaging and motivational learning to apprentices. Working from home, you will deliver remote online classroom lessons and support, with occasional face-to-face contact.
Working alongside like-minded professionals, you will be part of a forward-thinking team, looking to continually improve teaching practices through use of latest technology.
If you can provide the motivation, experience, and desire to improve apprentices’ maths, English and ICT skills, we will provide you with the training, support from a dedicated national team, and excellent pay and reward package to make your success our success.
Ideally, you will have experience of delivering outstanding training and coaching sessions to groups of learners in Math's, English and ICT to level 2. It is desirable that you hold a minimum level 3 teaching qualification (Award in Education & Training / PTLLs) and hold minimum Functional Skills Math's and English at Level 2 / GCSE Math's & English grade C/4 or above. Most important, you have a passion for learning and coaching and a real focus on developing the full potential in our apprentices as we are willing to train the successful applicant.
