You don’t get to lead an industry by following others. You do it by setting standards, promoting continuous learning, driving innovation and working hard to identify and apply effective professional practice at every level of the organisation.
That’s exactly what we do at JTL - and you could now play a key role in maintaining our success as one of the UK’s largest work-based learning providers.
As our Quality Assurance and Internal Audit Officer, you will actively monitor and improve our policies, systems, processes and procedures. This will involve more than managing planned internal audit and quality assurance activities at our training centres. You will develop action plans, recommend improvements, guide staff on best practice and ensure that everything we do complies with external standards and contractual requirements.
It’s all about building on our strengths and using your expertise - and initiative - to embed and develop a vibrant culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement at every level of our organisation.
Educated to A Level, NVQ 3 or equivalent, you must have proven knowledge and experience of quality assurance systems and procedures. This will ideally be supported by experience as an auditor and a good working knowledge of ISO9001, the Matrix Standard and the Common Inspection Framework. Good interviewing and presentation skills are, of course, essential - and some knowledge of work-based learning would be an advantage.
Add to that your effective IT and observational skills and you will quickly make your mark as part of our forward-thinking team.
In return, we can promise you an attractive salary, benefits including a pension and life insurance, ongoing professional development and the opportunity to influence the operational and strategic development of a leading training provider.
We welcome applicants from all sections of the community. JTL is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all its employees to share this commitment in conjunction with the requirements of the Prevent Duty and the positive promotion of modern British values.
A DBS disclosure will be required.
To evaluate, report on, recommend and help implement improvements to JTL’s policies, systems, processes and procedures by undertaking audits against planned arrangements to ensure JTL continues to comply with the requirements of external standards and contracts.
