The individual that we are looking for:
We are looking for credible and reliable team players with demonstrable post registration experience to join our Pagin8 team as Medical Records Nurse Assessors.
As a Nurse Assessor you will use your clinical knowledge to review medical records and provide an assessment and summary in relation to potential clinical negligence claims. You will then be responsible for providing your opinion on the possible strength of any such claim and give details as to how your decision has been formed.
Working with a team of Analyst colleagues you will also prepare medical records for chronology and pagination, identifying relevant information, missing records, summarising key events and questioning the medical records in relation to the client's instructions and witness statements provided.
The role will involve communication on a regular basis with external clients and internal colleagues, largely via the telephone in order to ensure the team delivers a service which exceeds the expectations of our clients and supports the delivery of business objectives.
Essential experience -
Excellent communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail skills
NMC registration of RGN or equivalent
Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
Up to date knowledge of Medical and Nursing Quality Standards
Intermediate keyboard and Microsoft Word / Excel skills
