As Group Head of Estates and Facilities, you will bring these values to life—creating environments where people feel safe, supported, and inspired.
🚀 The Role
As a senior leader reporting to the Chief Finance and Commercial Officer, you will:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing Estates and Facilities team across multiple sites
- Deliver safe, compliant, and future-ready environments for learning and work
- Drive the implementation of a 5-year Estates strategy
- Oversee all facilities services including maintenance, security, health and safety and cleaning.
- Champion health & safety, compliance, and operational excellence
- Manage budgets, resources, and contractor performance to maximise value
- Support capital projects and estate transformation initiatives.
🧠 About You
You are a confident leader with a passion for operational excellence and people development. You bring:
- Proven leadership experience in estates/facilities within complex, multi-site environments
- Experience in construction
- Strong knowledge of compliance, health & safety, and risk management
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and resources
- The ability to influence, collaborate, and build strong relationships
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and at times hands approach on with a drive for continuous improvement
Professional qualifications (e.g., IWFM, MRICS, MCIOB) and IOSH/NEBOSH are desirable.
