A bit about East Midlands
Livability East Midlands supports adults with a wide range of disabilities to live life as they choose.
This individually tailored service supports people to learn and maintain lifeskills in their own home and/or to access activities of their choice in their local community, including our popular day centre. Staff will train to customers’ specific needs and offer consistent support. A vibrant social calendar of events gives customers the opportunity to participate in new or favourite activities.
In return, Livability will provide:
Livability is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and adults and expects all employees to share this commitment. All offers of employment are subject to an enhanced DBS/Access NI check.
Livability is committed to the Disability Confident Scheme and to equal opportunities therefore we welcome and encourage applications from everyone regardless of age, disability, gender, ethnicity, religion and sexual orientation
Following the recent amendment of the Health and Social Care Act, care home workers are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Therefore, we require candidates to have had either their first, or both vaccinations at the time of making their application.
Should you be medically exempt, applications will be accepted and proof of exemption must be uploaded with your application.
