Domestic Supervisor - New Court Place - £9.37 Per Hour

Are you the Domestic Supervisor we are looking for? Do you have the passion, talent and skills experience that can make it all add up for the people we support?

At Livability, we’re looking for caring and community-minded people. This senior role will:

  • Lead a team of staff ensuring that provision is to the highest standard of support, by creating an environment that will enable each person living and working at the service to achieve their maximum potential.
  • Support the management of the service to ensure that services are performing in line with the expectations of Livability policy and procedure.

Overall, the role will comprise of around 25% of the time dedicated to supervision planning, reporting and 75% of the time available to leading, supervising and managing the team whilst working alongside the team.

The ideal candidate will have a compassionate nature, with a real desire to help others. You would be required:

  • To ensure that the standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the service is maintained to the highest level and to internal and external regulatory standards.

  • To lead the domestic team in maintaining high standards of, and safe practices in housekeeping across a service.

  • Have experience of leading a team and ensuring service provided is of highest standard.

  • Be aware of the legislation, regulations and procedures affecting the delivery of the service. Have good communication skills and basic understanding of money management.

    Livability New Court Place, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, is a residential home with nursing care for 24 adults with physical and intellectual disabilities, plus respite care and services for 16-18 year olds.
