Purpose of role
The primary function of this position is to source, develop and maintain relationships with innovative businesses in North America that are considering expansion into Europe. In this role you will promote London as the preeminent base for European operations and connect these businesses with our commercial partners who will assist them in establishing a presence in London.
Another key part of this role is to work with London companies exploring opportunities across the US and Canada including through trade missions from London, and to contribute to the planning of these visits and those by dignitaries and senior representatives from London. Additional tasks will be assigned as required with the overarching goal of facilitating investment and trade between London and North America.
In addition to the above this position provides administrative support to the team, including CRM maintenance, internal reporting, travel arrangements and general support as needed.
The role enables engagement with senior leaders from the private and public sectors in North America and London. It also provides the opportunity to build expertise in our core sectors and forge relationships with key stakeholders in your region and in London.
