London & Partners is the Mayor of London’s official promotional agency. We promote London and attract businesses, events, congresses, students and visitors to the capital. Domestic Tourism Consortium
L&P has formed a Domestic Tourism Consortium with key London stakeholders and organisations to deliver a series of marketing campaigns aimed at driving demand among domestic audiences. These campaigns will be developed according to an agreed marketing strategy over three years from 2019-2022. Consortium members include public and private sector companies, who will fund the always on and campaign activities during the life of the Consortium. L&P will be the delivery partner for the Consortium, responsible for the successful development, execution and evaluation of the agreed marketing campaigns according to KPIs set by the Consortium. L&P will select and manage external agencies to develop a three-year marketing strategy, campaign creative and paid media activities. L&P will work to expand the number of Consortium partners, in order to fund additional campaigns and grow the reach and impact of the campaigns on driving domestic demand.

Purpose of role

The Marketing Co-ordinator, Domestic Tourism supports the Marketing Manager, Domestic Tourism to execute and deliver best-in-class, data-led marketing campaigns which drive domestic tourism demand for London and bring ‘brand London’ to life brilliantly and consistently. The Co-ordinator will support the Marketing Manager, Domestic Tourism and wider team in implementing consumer campaign activity which delivers against agreed campaign targets in line with the Consortium’s strategic objectives.

Key tasks

  • Assist with the delivery of innovative, best-in-class Domestic Tourism marketing campaigns from inception and execution through to final campaign evaluation
  • Work with the Marketing Manager, Domestic Tourism and agencies to ensure the creative and content fulfilment of all consumer campaign activity
  • Support the Marketing Manager, Domestic Tourism to ensure all campaigns go live on time with the correct creative and content assets
  • Understand key audience insights so they can be applied to consumer campaign activity, helping to build London’s domestic brand and inspiring target audiences to choose London
  • Support the Marketing Manager, Domestic Tourism to manage and facilitate requests from the Consortium partners
  • Work with the Domestic Tourism specialists on the Content & Channels team to integrate London & Partners’ owned channels (i.e. social media) into all appropriate consumer marketing
  • Help manage the sourcing and delivery of competitions relating to consumer promotional activity as required
  • Provide administrative support to the Domestic Tourism team as required, including maintenance of budget commitment records and collation of project updates and reports to communicate to the wider team
  • Any other reasonable duties as allocated by the line manager.

  • Marketing campaigns experience (B2B or B2C)
  • Experience of working within an agile team
  • Experience of working with email, excel, Powerpoint, project plans
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks


  • Experience of working in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Experience of working with agencies
