Purpose of role

You will be responsible for ensuring the day to day smooth operations and administrative functions of the Mumbai office. You will also provide logistical and travel support to the India team, visiting Senior Leadership Team members, VIP visitors, commercial partner visits and trade delegations.  You will be responsible to source and develop business contacts into long term business relationships, as well as market London and our services to businesses through a wide range of media, including maintaining current and accurate data on our Sales Force CRM system.

Key tasks

  • Build and manage a network of reliable vendors
  • Provide logistical and travel support to the India team, visiting Senior Leadership Team members, VIP visitors, commercial partner visits and trade delegations
  • Target potential leads through desk-based research, networking, Sales Force, Deal room and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Identify potential companies, set up end to end meetings for Vice Presidents and Chief Representative India
  • Provide statistical assistance to the India Team
  • Audit and maintain a healthy Sales Force database by regularly cleaning the pipeline
  • Liaise with the London team for all Sales Force related matters
  • Ensure L&P is sighted on leads and projects generated by Department if International Trade
  • Log and record all discussions and key action points from these meetings
  • Attend industry events focused on Foreign Direct investment held by stakeholders and trade bodies to meet relevant companies who can add to the India pipeline

 

You'll be/have:  

  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to use initiative to plan, prioritise and allocate a heavy workload effectively and respond flexibly to rapidly changing and conflicting priorities
  • Ability to demonstrate a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to communicate information effectively and confidently to a wide range of internal and external contacts and at a very senior level
  • Experience of working as a key member of a team, able to take own initiative and work flexibly
  • Experience in digital marketing, PR and MarComms
  • Experience of dealing with confidential information with tact and sensitivity.
  • Excellent IT skills including intermediate/advanced knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM and Intranet/Internet systems

Purpose of role

You will be responsible for ensuring the day to day smooth operations and administrative functions of the Mumbai office. You will also provide logistical and travel support to the India team, visiting Senior Leadership Team members, VIP visitors, commercial partner visits and trade delegations.

You will be responsible to source and develop business contacts into long term business relationships, as well as market London and our services to businesses through a wide range of media, including maintaining current and accurate data on our Sales Force CRM system.

Lastly, you will be the go-to person in market for cross-organisation working. For example, helping the Chief Representative India and Vice Presidents to ensure that the India market team is completing key administrative and planning tasks that it needs to do throughout the year and ensuring all records are up to date and maintained on Salesforce. Co-ordinating calls and meetings between the team in London, Commercial Partners and the in-market team.

 

Key tasks

  • Build and manage a network of reliable vendors
  • Ensure all payments to vendors are made in a timely manner and all finance records are up to date
  • Provide logistical and travel support to the India team, visiting Senior Leadership Team members, VIP visitors, commercial partner visits and trade delegations
  • Prepare briefing documents for Senior Leadership Team and VIP visitors to India
  • Prospect relevant companies from London and Partners core sectors
  • Target potential leads through desk-based research, networking, Sales Force, Deal room and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Identify the VC network pan India
  • Identify potential companies, set up end to end meetings for Vice Presidents and Chief Representative India
  • Maintain up to date all relevant lead information for India team projects
  • Provide statistical assistance to the India Team
  • Audit and maintain a healthy Sales Force database by regularly cleaning the pipeline
  • Liaise with the London team for all SalesForce related matters
  • Ensure London & Partners is sighted on leads and projects generated by Department of International Trade
  • Liaise with the in-market PR agency
  • Schedule monthly meetings with key external stakeholders
  • Log and record all discussions and key action points from these meetings
  • Attend industry events focused on Foreign Direct investment held by stakeholders and trade bodies to meet relevant companies who can add to the India pipeline
