Account Executive, Commercial & Partnerships

Purpose of role 

To provide operational support for the effective running of London & Partners paid partnership programmes including the Tourism; Trade and Innovation; Inward Investment and Destination sectors. To support partners and to provide administrative and event management support to the Account Management team.

 

Key Tasks 

 

  • Act as first point of contact for all Partnership enquiries and provide initial account management and support
  • Working alongside Account Managers to provide Event Management support specifically but not exclusively Inward Investment Partner Events
  • Assisting Partner set up admin where needed including setting them up on any relevant systems and invoicing support 

  

You'll be/have: 

  • Significant administrative experience in a commercial environment
  • Working knowledge of budgets/financial targets
  • Experience and excellent knowledge of a CRM system, preferably Salesforce
  • Experience of working with Google Analytics

Key tasks

 

  • Act as first point of contact for all Partnership enquiries and provide initial account management and support
  • Working alongside Account Managers to provide Event Management support specifically but not exclusively Inward Investment Partner Events
  • Assisting Partner set up admin where needed including setting them up on any relevant systems and invoicing support
  • Support the Team with the recruitment and appropriate contract management of new partners and the renewal of existing partners
  • Act as Salesforce Superuser for the Account Management team. Overseeing and facilitating best practice of the team – ensuring salesforce pipelines, reports and dashboards are accurate and up to date.
  • Creation of any reports required internally to track pipeline of new prospects, renewal rates, referrals, up-selling opportunities and performance against targets
  • Liaise with the Finance Department to manage invoicing and payments of members and partners and tracking income generation
  • Produce annual reports for Partners, in collaboration with Account Management team
  • Other general administrative duties/projects to maintain the smooth running of the department
  • Any other reasonable duties as allocated by the line manager. e.g. weekly management reports, attendance at meetings, etc.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:-

 

Skills

  • Significant administrative experience in a commercial environment
  • Working knowledge of budgets/financial targets
  • Experience and excellent knowledge of a CRM system, preferably Salesforce
  • Experience of working with Google Analytics
  • Experience of developing or implementing process improvements
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal & written
  • Reactive enquiry handling experience
  • Experience of paid for partner/membership schemes would be beneficial
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Office products Word, Powerpoint and Excel
