This is a Renewable Energy Role, reporting to Nick Jones, but also occasionally supporting members of the general commercial Real Estate team.

The successful candidate will be exposed to a range of energy-related real estate work, including negotiating options, leases, servitudes and securities and reviewing title.  This is a busy team, and there will be contact with clients and their other advisors on a day to day basis. 

 

Experience Required

Applicants should have a good knowledge of real estate law and practice and ideally some familiarity with the energy sector.  The applicant should be pro-active and be comfortable working either singly or as part of a team. 

 

Essential Skills and Qualifications

A willingness to learn about and experience the energy sector is vital.  Applicants must be able to demonstrate a confident approach together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  The ability to juggle a full and varied workload is required, along with an enthusiastic approach to work and an ability to think commercially.

 

Location

 Our approach to hybrid working allows employees a blend of working from home as well as in our office in Edinburgh.

 

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, with a one-hour break for lunch.
