We have an opportunity to join us to provide planning and consenting advice to our clients across a range of sectors and industries, including renewables, quarrying and housebuilding.
The applicant will be expected to provide support primarily to our commercial property group. . The work will include, Section 75 Agreements, planning applications and appeals and advice on a range of consenting matters (eg electricity wayleaves) as well as due diligence support for our property, corporate finance and banking teams. Relevant sectors will include renewables (mainly onshore wind but offshore wind, hydro and solar too), housebuilding, aggregates/extractive industries and generally all sectors where planning and consenting issues arise.

Applicants must have a good knowledge of planning and consenting law and practice and be able to comfortably work independently or as part of a team. In addition to excellent communication skills, applicants should have the ability to deal confidently and professionally with clients on day to day issues. Applicants will be expected to manage a varied workload with an enthusiastic approach to work and enjoy working in a team environment.
Our approach to agile working allows employees in this role to work from home or a blend of home working. as well as in any one our modern and centrally located offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Dundee.
