The Role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded Senior Solicitor/Associate to join our Real Estate East team. In our team, you will work with first class commercial clients on deals including investment acquisitions and disposals, development and leasing.  You will also have the opportunity to work alongside UK firms on cross-border real estate finance transactions.  We are a dynamic, friendly team who all help each other get the job done.

Key Skills/Responsibilities:

  • You must have a good knowledge of commercial real estate law and practice, be proactive and able to comfortably work independently or as part of a team.
  • In addition to excellent communication and project management skills, you should have the ability to deal confidently and professionally with clients on day to day issues.
  • You will be expected to manage a busy and varied workload with an enthusiastic approach to work and enjoy working in a team environment.


Experience Required:

  • You should have 3-6 years post qualifying experience.
  • You should have experience dealing with leasing matters, for either landlords or tenants.
  • Additionally, applicants should have previous experience with acquisition and disposal of commercial property.
  • Any previous experience of development transactions and/or English Law transactions would be advantageous.




Our approach to agile working allows employees a blend of working from home as well as in our office in Edinburgh.


Hours of Work:

Full-time, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
