We currently have an immediate vacancy for a Tax Manager to join our busy Private Client department.  The Private Client team has an enviable reputation and wishes to recruit a talented, enthusiastic and motivated Accountant or Tax Advisor for this senior position who will be capable of managing a varied caseload, working independently, and who is keen to develop the role.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate can expect to work on:-

  • All aspects of tax compliance work for individuals;
  • All aspects of Tax compliance for Trusts;
  • Executry taxation;
  • Trust accounting; and
  • Tax planning.

Experience Required

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience, and be comfortable liaising direct with clients. Experience should preferably have been gained within a similarly reputable firm of Solicitors or Accountants.  The ideal candidate would be able to work on the existing case load with minimum supervision and be keen to engage in business development.

Key skills

In addition to being able to demonstrate relevant tax expertise, the successful candidate will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Applicants must have experience and confidence in using CCH tax software, be able to juggle a busy and varied workload, have an enthusiastic approach to work and enjoy working in a team environment.

Ideally core hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm but we are willing to consider part-time alternatives.
