The Role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded newly qualified/junior Solicitor to join our Real Estate East team.  Early in your career we think that it is important that you experience lots of different areas of commercial real estate law.  With our team you’ll have the chance to work on deals that include leasing, investment, development, cross-border real estate finance, and option agreements.  That way, when the time comes for you to specialise, you’ll not only be a more versatile solicitor, you’ll know what you enjoy most and want to focus on.  We are a dynamic, friendly team who all help each other get the job done.

Key Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Ability to deal confidently and professionally with clients on day-to-day issues.
  • Responsible for leasing matters, for both landlords and tenants
  • Experience dealing with investment and development
  • Acquisitions and disposals
  • Real estate finance transactions

Experience Required:

  • You should have a good knowledge of real estate law and practice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
  • Any previous experience of English Law transactions would be advantageous.
  • The successful candidate should have the relevant post qualifying experience.



Our approach to agile working allows employees a blend of working from home as well as in our office in Edinburgh.


Hours of Work:

Full-time, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
