General Manager vacancy:

The Volunteer at Baker Street is looking for a General Manager. This may be small site, but it punches well above its weight and if offering a competitive salary, 33% staff discount across all Mitchells and Butler brands and this year our General Managers can achieve a quarterly bonus paid throughout the year and, wait for it, 1% profit share. Total bonus uncapped!

This business couldn’t be positioned in a better location, right next to Sherlock Holmes museum, across the road from Regents Park, the famous Madam Tussauds is just a few hundred yards away and Lords Cricket ground is less than a 5 minutes’ stroll down the road. It is the last natural stop before heading to Wembley for a concert or football game and attracts vibrant local businesses and the residential community. Every type of customer is on your doorstep.

The Volunteer is one of Castle’s top EBITDA businesses. A 75:25 Wet: Dry split. Therefore, you will need to be a General Manager who is a real trader, a front facing leader. You will fully understand your market place and be able to capitalise on all these opportunities, you’ll build strong local links and develop and inspire a fast paced and fun team of staff who love to serve and engage their customers. You will also be able to demonstrate impeccable standards and “Top Notch” service. This business if full on but such good fun to run.
