We are currently looking for a Part Time Purchasing Assistant to join the Ultimate Healthcare team based at our Head Office. This role is a fast paced and exciting opportunity within our Procurement function where you will support the administration of general procurement activities as well as undertaking routine purchasing tasks.
This role will require you to manage the purchasing of components and products to facilitate deliveries to the special order requests from the NHS Trusts Wheelchair and Community Equipment contracts and independent customers. The products are bespoke and manufactured as required to fulfill individual service users’ needs and require the equipment to be procured OTIF whilst ensuring the best possible value for the NHS.
This role will require you to be a proactive team player, challenge the status quo and actively propose new ideas on how we can make things better and always put the customer first.
