At Moat, we believe everyone deserves a safe, well‑maintained place to call home. Our Empty Homes team play a vital role in making that happen - getting properties ready to let quickly, safely and to a high standard.

We’re now looking for an organised, proactive and detail‑focused Empty Homes Assistant to support our Empty Homes service and work closely with colleagues across Allocations and Lettings. If you enjoy juggling priorities, keeping systems up to date, and knowing your work makes a real difference to customers, this could be the role for you.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the Empty Homes team with day‑to‑day administration, ensuring targets are met and processes followed in line with Moat policies
  • Updating systems and maintaining accurate records on CRM and other databases, ensuring information is accessible, compliant and up to date
  • Collating information from contractors regarding void works and health & safety compliance, and recording this accurately
  • Raising or supporting the raising of void works promptly to minimise financial loss
  • Assisting with the post‑inspection processes, sharing reports with contractors, tracking works to completion, and ensuring evidence is stored correctly
  • Supporting the “ready to let” process, making sure void packs include all required compliance documentation
  • Raising or supporting recalls, snagging and additional works, using clear detail and accurate coding
  • Working closely with the Lettings team to resolve post‑sign‑up issues relating to void works identified at move‑in

What you’ll bring

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Experience in an office administration role, with strong organisation, time management and prioritisation skills
  • An awareness of void processes, ideally within social housing or a similar environment
