At Moat, our purpose is to provide safe and affordable homes that make a real and lasting difference by supporting wellbeing, opening opportunities and helping our colleagues, customers and communities to thrive. Procurement and contract management play a critical role in how we achieve this.

We are looking for an exceptional Director of Procurement & Contracts to lead our procurement and contract management function through its next stage of development. This is a strategic leadership role with considerable influence across the organisation, responsible for ensuring that commercial decisions, supplier partnerships and contracts deliver value for money, quality outcomes and long-term sustainability.

You will drive a proactive, business partnering procurement model that supports Moat’s ambitious asset management, investment and development programmes. Working across the organisation, you will ensure that procurement and contracts enable high quality services, effective risk management and strong social value outcomes for our customers and communities.

Collaborating closely with the Executive Team, Senior Leadership Team and Board, you will shape and deliver a forward looking procurement and contracts strategy aligned to Moat’s corporate objectives. You will bring strong commercial leadership, with the ability to oversee complex, high value contracts, manage regulatory compliance, and build productive, outcome focused relationships.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior procurement leader who wants to use commercial expertise to deliver meaningful social impact. You will have experience operating at senior leadership level, leading high performing teams, managing significant contracts and budgets, and influencing senior stakeholders across a complex organisation.
