Are you passionate about supporting communities, truly want to make a difference to people's lives and have experience in dealing with complex tenancy issues?

Are you an excellent communicator, self-motivated with experience supporting individuals and families affected by domestic abuse and associated housing-related challenges?

We’re excited to be recruiting a proactive and dedicated Tenancy Specialist Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll act as a specialist, focusing mainly on domestic abuse, but may also deal with some anti-social behaviour (ASB) and tenancy fraud cases when required.

We’re avid supporters of agile working and you’ll be provided with a laptop, tablet and phone in order to work flexibly between your home, our schemes and our office in Dartford.

What we’re looking for?

You’ll manage complex and sensitive cases, providing excellent service and acting as a key point of contact for customers. Working closely with colleagues, you’ll ensure a consistent and effective approach to tenancy management, helping to improve outcomes and customer satisfaction with a particular emphasis on supporting customers affected by domestic abuse.

To succeed, you’ll need a strong understanding of domestic abuse legislation and knowledge of tenancy law and ASB. You should have experience handling complex tenancy issues and be confident using both legal and non-legal remedies. Knowledge of court processes and safeguarding practices is essential.

This role requires flexibility, including occasional work outside normal office hours, and access to transport for site visits and court attendance.
