Deputy Manager

At the National Autistic Society, our Clayton Croft residential service provides 24-hour support to children and young people aged 8 to 19 within the children’s home.  We support to develop further social, communication, independence and coping skills. The house supports children and young people who are very active and outgoing and have a range of needs and individual challenges.

Who we are looking for:  

  

Are you someone who is wanting to look at your next step up and haven’t had the opportunity for that experience if so this could be the role for you. If you are someone looking to gain that experience in a management role and want this to be in a supportive and nurturing environment this may be the next step for you.

You will work closely with the registered manager and deputise for the registered manager in her absence. You will be given autonomy and experience to lead, supervise and make decisions in the best interest of the young people we support.

The ideal candidate will need to have experience of supervision and leading. This doesn’t have to be in a management role but evidence of your ability to lead will be explored in the interview process.

This position is for maternity leave cover with a minimum of 6 months in post.

The position is full-time 37 hours. The salary for the position is £ 27,256.32 - £ 32,936.88
