30 Hour Waking Night Support Worker. York Close Supported Living, Mildenhall, East Anglia

We are looking for a Waking Night Support Worker to work in our supported living services in Beck Row, Bury St Edmunds .

Ideally, you will have a background in supporting autistic people but don't worry if you don't because we have a fantastic training programme that will get you on your way to achieving a fulfilling job that will beat most out there.

The role includes:

  • Supporting the night time routine of individuals, including issuing medication
  • Supporting individuals with personal care and reassurance if required
  • Undertaking domestic tasks to ensure the service maintains a high level of cleanliness
  • Completing shift records and paperwork
  • Ensuring a robust handover to day time staff in the morning

We need you to be: Resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people. Being a support worker takes passion, patience and commitment. But working with autistic people gives so much more in return.

Our Supported living home currently supports 3 individuals. ​ The home is run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

Our safe environment and fully trained experienced staff support people to have a good quality of life, ensuring support and activities are meaningful to each individual
