Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a Horticulture Teacher with QTS Teaching experience (ASD/SEND).
A breakthrough can seem like the smallest thing, but it can make the world of difference - by becoming a Horticulture teacher at the Sybil Elgar School you’ll help make every day breakthroughs happen more often.
You must have the following:
- Proven knowledge of the Curriculum and the impact on pupils with autism
- Ability to lead and drive forward the coordination of designated areas of the curriculum across the school
- Passion for working with pupils with complex behaviour needs
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to lead by example
- Be keen about curriculum innovations and teaching and learning approaches
We need you to be resilient, caring and sensitive towards the needs of autistic children and as a valued, creative member of our team you will know that you have made a positive impact on a young person’s learning and development - which is priceless.
This is a Full Time/Permanent Position, working 35 Hours Per Week.
