About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced deputy manager whose passion is advocating for and supporting people with learning disabilities to fulfil their potential.

 

The Community engagement, Co production and Volunteering team work to ensure that Outwards values to engage, enable and empower are fulfilled across the organisation by implementing our Co production strategy, running Person We Support Committee, employing people we support as quality checkers and recruiting and matching volunteers to work in our services.

 

 We are looking for enthusiastic, creative and committed individual to join the teams. If you feel you can bring a fresh approach, some new ideas and a commitment to supporting vulnerable people to have genuine control over their lives, play an active role in the community and develop as individual’s then we want to hear from you. 

 

As a Temporary Deputy Manager your duties will include:

  • Supporting our Quality Checkers to audit services and writing up reports
  • Supporting our co-trainers to present at Welcome days
  • Supporting co-trainers to take part in support planning training
  • Managing and supervising Volunteers
  • Recruiting, onboarding and training Volunteers
  • Implementing our team plan
  • Co-ordinating People We Support Satisfaction Surveys
