ENGAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE – Charlotte Street office, London

Base salary up to £38k plus bonus scheme and benefits package

 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the PizzaExpress Engagement and Communications team. In this position you will play a vital role in actively evolving the two-way conversations with our teams, using strong writing and design skills to bring our communications to life.  This role gives you the opportunity to project manage our employee mobile app, working with internal teams and third party providers to create an exciting and engaging content plan and ultimately increase usage and engagement of the app.

 

You will support the delivery of our People Deal, acting as a voice of the brand internally. You’ll be sharing stories about our people, highlighting why PizzaExpress is a great place to work, learn and develop a career. You’ll manage a calendar of events for the business to ensure we have regular touchpoints to engage our teams, and play a key role in implementing and analysing our employee engagement surveys.

 

You will be working in a fast-paced, work hard, play hard environment. The role is about innovation and creativity with a focus on planning and attention to detail, where a ‘can do’ attitude and flexibility are essential. Excellent writing skills and a flair for writing clear and engaging copy are a must, as you’ll be creating a range of materials including our weekly newsletter, People News announcements and a whole lot more. You’ll be building strong relationships across the business and story mining for stories that we want to shout about.  

 

This role also involves event management - you’ll be supporting the delivery of our Annual Conference and Awards Party and a number of other key internal events. This is a varied and exciting role, working with all departments across the business to engage 11,000+ team members in PizzaExpress’ vision.

 

For success in role, we are looking for applicants with excellent communication skills, who love writing and are passionate about engaging employees to make PizzaExpress an amazing place to work. You’ll always be looking for new and innovative ways to improve processes and systems, be enthusiastic about encouraging two-way communications with our teams and have strong attention to detail. You will have a real passion for PizzaExpress and internal communications, and a thorough understanding of the hospitality industry.

                         

You will be a key representative of the team, so confidence and demonstrable experience of working with senior stakeholders is crucial. Good organisation, presentation and time management skills are imperative.
