Support Worker

Females only due to service needs and must be a driver with a full, manual drivers license and preferably with business insurance.

Here at the Good Days Project in Sheffield we offer a bespoke support service for people with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. We provide a range of support options including 1to1 support, accessing and taking part in activities, support in the community and support at home. We design our service around the individual’s needs with the key objective of supporting people to reach their full potential and maximise their enjoyment of life
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting 1to1 and to promote positive well-being.
- Participating in the chosen activities of the people we support.
- Supporting to maintain and develop community links, as well as accessing the community and taking part in leisure pursuits to support and encourage independent living and life skills.
- Drivers are essential as you will be traveling to areas around Sheffield and some local towns.
Who you are:

- You are willing to take part in the chosen activities of the people we support.
- You will be able to work independently, multitask, organise and prioritise work to suit the people we support.
- You will be exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internal and external.
- You will have the ability to stay calm and positive under pressure
- You will be a quick learner, hands on, willing to be flexible in tasks and activities.
