Senior Support Worker

Roman Park is a 14 bedded residential service where we support adults with learning disabilities. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic team and further your career in social care.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Excellent training and progression prospects.
  • To assist with supervision, monitoring and day to day management of other staff.
  • The post holder will be required to fulfil their job role and support the management team and also lead a team of support workers to assist with their development.
  • Participate in the On-Call Rota, to provide managerial support.
  • Assistant with implementing, reviewing care plans.
  • The people we support require support with personal care, medication, washing/bathing, outcome focused activities, accessing the community and day trips.
  • Shifts consist of days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Who you are:

  • Minimum of NVQ Level 2 diploma is desirable.
  • It is important that you have the right core values to ensure the people you support receive the best quality care.
  • You will be flexible with a “can do” attitude.
