Female Waking Night Support Worker

We have an exciting opportunity for a Female Waking night Support Worker to join our residential service based in Wallasey.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting adults with learning disabilities, Autism and challenging behaviours on a 1-1 basis.
  • Encouraging the People WSupport to take part in activities or hobbies they enjoy.
  • Ensuring they maintain and develop their community links, as well as accessing community and leisure pursuits to support their independent living and life skills.
  • Promote positive health and well-being of the people that you support, enabling them to have a meaningful life.
  • Promote our value of “do with” and no “do for”.
  • Adhere to the role of keyworker, completing care plan reviews, risk assessment reviews and monthly keyworker and 1-2-1 summaries.
  • Support the service with the completion of quality audits.
  • Attend mandatory eLearning training and face to face training.

  • Experience essential around autism, challenging behaviours, differing communication needs, and working in children services.
  • Resilient, fun & friendly.
  • Flexible to do a range of different shifts, including Waking nights when required.

  • Be self-motivated and committed to the role.

  • Drivers preferred but not essential 
  • Must be available for immediate start pending suitable DBS a reference checks. Preferably on the update service.
  • Females only due to service requirements
