At our specialist service in Perranporth, we support adults with learning disabilities/ autism who may exhibit behaviours that can challenge. Tarrant House is a Residential Care Home consisting of seven rooms within the main house, which have been tailored to suit each person’s individual personality and needs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing proactive, flexible, positive and caring support to adults living in our service.
  • Enabling and supporting people to learn new skills towards living more independently.
  • Assisting and providing individuals with support for their emotional and practical needs.
  • Working effectively as part of a team and with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Will be a part of developing and implementing person centred care plans.
  • Personal care.

Who you are:

  • Experience is not essential as full training and support will be given. For us at Tarrant, it’s all about our Support Workers having the right qualities and values to bring to the role.
  • The successful candidate will have the aptitude, desire and commitment to work in social care, supporting adults with varying needs.
  • A valid driving license is not essential, but due to the location and nature of the service, is preferred.
