Head of Quality and Service Development

You will report to our established Director of Quality, overseeing the Organisation's quality functions across a varied portfolio of services based in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the Director of Quality and oversee the Organisation's quality functions across a varied portfolio of services based in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
  • Designing and setting up all quality systems for new services.
  • Ensure that the Service Development team are fully aware of their responsibilities and supported to achieve exceptional standards.
  • Delegate research projects to Service Development Managers to identify opportunities for service and People growth and improvement.
  • Stay abreast of National drivers in Social Care, review these against the Company's operations to inform, create and maintain fit for future services.
  • Empower and instil a continuous improvement and development culture across all services.
  • Lead Operational and Governance Policy and procedure management.
  • Work collaboratively across the workforce to support the development and coordination of effective quality systems within the services, which initiate an open culture and enable appropriate actions to be taken promptly.

Who you are:

  • Professional in manner and appearance with excellent skills in both written and verbal communication.
  • Experience of Social Services, Local Authorities and Health Boards with a minimum of three years in a similar role.
  • Solid financial acumen, sound HR knowledge base with demonstrable SLT / Board level attendance.
  • Analytical and creative in thinking style, excellent at solving problems.
  • Proven ability in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track record in commercial and qualitative improvement.
  • Full driving license, you will travel regularly with occasional overnight stays.
