Support Worker

We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for Support Worker.

All applicants must hold a full manual driver's license due to service needs.

The position will be based at both of our supported living services on the Queens Road in Newbury. It will also involve working within our Outreach service. Our Outreach service is where we support people within their own homes out in the community.

The people we support have learning disabilities and their needs vary from moderate to high.

 What you’ll be doing:

• Working to maintain a high level of support that’s required for the service needs.
• Supporting both within our supported living services and as part of our Outreach service.
• Personal care.
• You will also be supporting with meal prep, domestic support and correspondence.
• The role will also require supporting and encouraging with socialising and helping the people we support in reaching their goals.
• You will be willing to participate and be enthusiastic about the likes and interests of the people we support.
