Support Worker
We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Bank Support Worker.
Oakleigh Lodge is a residential care home in Dudley providing support and care for adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy, and autism.

What you’ll be doing:
- All aspects of personal care, feeding, cooking, some cleaning, and key working.
- You will be required to operate hoists.
- Supporting with activities and interests both within the service and out in the community.
- Epilepsy training will be given.
- Providing person-centered care.
Who you are:
- You will have a minimum of 1 year of experience working within the social care sector.
- Experience of working with learning disabilities, autism, or epilepsy would be preferred, but is not essential.
- You have the ability and passion to support the individual needs of our residents, providing high quality person centered care.
- An NVQ level 2 or above in health and social care would be preferable but not essential; if you don’t have this, then you will have a willingness to achieve.
