Deputy Manager - Social Care

Roman Park is a 14 bedded residential service in Syston where we support adults with learning disabilities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • To work with the service manager to support the 24-hour management of the service, ensuring that all aspects of care and service delivery is focused on meeting the needs of the people we support.
  • To deputise for the service manager in their absence.
  • To provide supervision, supporting and developing of staff. Monitoring, coordination and day to day management of the team.
  • Manage day-to-day staffing, resources of the service and ensuring rotas are planned.
  • Help and co-operate in effective management of staff budgets by careful organisation.
  • Participate in on-call rota to provide managerial support.

Who you are:

  • Experience in a senior role required.
  • Ideally hold an NVQ level 3 and willing to work towards level 5.
  • A highly motivated leader that will promote a ‘can do’ culture.
  • Flexibility is needed.
