Are you looking to start career in IT? If the answer is yes, Principality’s Platforms & Engineering team are hiring an Academy Engineer.

This rare opportunity will see the successful applicant gaining experience in Agile and DevOps principles. This is an entry level role, where you will be given the time and space to learn and gain accreditation in our technology stack and learn ways of working with guidance and coaching from the wider community.

As our Academy Engineer you will be working directly with our Technical Leads and Platform Engineers to share knowledge, helping build our standards and ways of working across teams and value streams.

Day to Day for the Academy Engineer will see you:

  • Solving business problems by providing support to our Change teams (Developers, QAs), and being involved in IT platform maintenance and delivery.
  • Providing support to production.
  • Working in a scrum team.
  • Developing self to move out of Academy.
