We’re looking for a 6-month FTC to cover paternity leave.

As an FP&A Manager in our Planning & Performance team, you’ll be at the heart of strategic decision-making, driving financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. You’ll provide insights that steer the business towards serving our members, scaling our business and optimize performance, working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to articulate our financial ambitions. This is more than just a numbers role - it's a chance to lead, influence, and contribute to our continued success.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis that supports strategic decision-making.
  • Playing a key role in the annual Medium-Term Planning and preparing for our annual ICAAP stress testing.
  • Preparing insightful performance reports for the Executive Committee and Board, and owning month-end financial performance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain robust performance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and targets, identifying variances, trends, and key performance drivers.
  • Oversee the production of management reports, dashboards, KPIs, and weekly cashflow reporting to provide visibility of financial and operational performance.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial and strategic analysis to evaluate new initiatives, competitive actions, and strategic options.
  • Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the financial impact of different business scenarios.
  • Provide clear insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making
  • Bringing your deep understanding of balance sheet dynamics and mortgage/savings products to deliver actionable recommendations to senior management.

What you will bring to the role:

  • A knack for turning complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • A proactive approach to driving outcomes, setting high standards for yourself and others.
  • A passion for challenging the status quo and empowering those around you to achieve success.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset, ensuring seamless cross-functional delivery.
  • Expertise in financial modelling and data analysis, with a high level of Excel proficiency.
  • A relevant accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
