Principality Building Society is embarking on a period of significant cultural transformation to simplify our business and create capacity for purposeful growth. This is a new and exciting role and is pivotal to our growth and success. As a Workforce Planning Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of an operational workforce planning capability of our people, processes, and technology.

What you will do:

  • Develop and deliver an operational workforce planning capability across the Principality group
  • Identify opportunities to improve organisational outcomes to ensure our people resources are managed more efficiently.
  • Workforce planning and forecasting to cover operational demands
  • Create and maintain accurate staffing schedules to ensure optimal coverage to meet our service level agreements.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of monthly performance across the group
  • Manage design changes to ensure they align with business needs.
  • Forecast all operational demand types and staffing requirements based on historical data, and identify trends and business needs
  • Able to work with a range of stakeholders to develop and implement change.
  • Asist with training and mentoring of all workforce planning colleagues to ensure competency
  • Monitor real time data to ensure all peak activities and shortfalls are monitored and plans in place to ensure service level agreements

What we are looking for:

  • Strong experience in managing workforce planning activities
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data & make sound decisions
  • Experience of using workforce management software and tools to forecast call volumes & create schedules
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels and work collaboratively in a team
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively in a challenging environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables and data techniques
  • Strong diligence and accuracy, with the ability to analyse data and identify patterns & trends
