An exciting opportunity to join us in a newly created role as Senior Manager Research & Customer Strategy. This role is within the Savings function, responsible for development and execution of customer research across the organisation. As our Senior Manager Research & Customer Strategy you will be facilitating the development of strategic initiatives that fall within scope of customer strategy.

Reporting directly into our Head of Product – Savings. You will collaborate to influence and embed the use of research to enable achievement of functional and strategic companywide objectives, championing the Customer and Broker value proposition.

What you’ll be doing

  • Driving customer related improvements based on insight to achieve customer life stage.
  • Implementing and leveraging new research and insight technologies to ensure best practice.
  • Engaging with colleagues to understand customer segments, customer priorities and implementation plans.
  • Responsibility to drive future development of the society’s research capability including qualitative and quantitive research methods.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, influencing strategic decisions relating to customer voice across value streams.
  • Implement improvements in quality and efficiency across the research team by effective management of the research roster and by selecting, implementing and championing new ways of working.
  • Shape and use research to support robust business cases, KPIs and metrics to maximise ROI on customer initiatives.

This role will require:

  • Experience of leading change and inspiring teams with an exciting future vision
  • Solid understanding of technology and project/programme management
  • Clear, concise communicator, up to Board and Exec level
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen
  • Ability to network and influencing
  • Stakeholder management, cross-functional engagement and leading matrix teams
